1. Update on Progress of Projects

• Questions to consider: At this point in the project, are there any modifications that need to be made to your workplans (based on the progress you've made in implementing them)?

2. FRAP Expense Budget

• From Alan's e-mail: "Good news. We were awarded five FRAP grants (the maximum I could apply for) for $350 each (also the maximum allowed). So we have a total of $1,750 to work with as our budget. I have shared with you all a Google spreadsheet where we can begin building the budget for the FRAP expenses. What our several project teams need to do now is to begin filling in the "Expected Expenses" part of the spreadsheet on the left half of the document. That will let me know what to order, and when. (I then get reimbursed from the FRAP funds.) In column K of the spreadsheet, please insert any further description of expenses as needed, including precise instructions for me about what, how many, etc., to purchase; URLs of online sites to order from; etc. You may have to do some research to figure how what we need (e.g., in regard to a paid social media campaign). We don't have to fill in the budget all at once; and can do so on a rolling basis. The funds have to be used by the end of June."
• What materials do we need to include in this budget? What do you think these materials will cost (ballpark is fine; hard estimates/numbers preferred)?

• From Christine Hensleler (via Alan): "Christine Henseler, a professor at Union College in New York and one of the co-leaders of the 4Humanities.org initiative, is going to be editing a book titled Why Choose the Arts and Humanities? -- Advice from Students and Young Professionals. See her draft of a "call" for contributions from students and other millennials (attached). The project is at an early stage, and when the call officially goes out some of you may be interested in contributing. In the meantime, however, Christine sought my advice as her collaborator on 4Humanities.org about the call. I thought I'd in turn seek your advice as the intended audience. Can you all have a look at it and see if you have suggestions for improvements or additions for Christine?"
